Đồng thời, Apple cũng đã chính thức ngừng sản xuất iPad thế hệ thứ 9, một chiếc máy tính bảng với giá trước đây là $329. Có thể đoán rằng việc giảm giá mạnh của iPad thế hệ thứ 10 đã khiến sản phẩm trước đó trở nên không còn cạnh tranh.
Với sự thay đổi này, dường như không còn bất kỳ sản phẩm sử dụng cổng Lightning nào trong danh sách sản phẩm của Apple ngoại trừ Apple Pencil phát hành trước đó.

Apple’s Let Loose iPad event saw the company announce new iPad Pro and iPad Air tablets, but it also saw the company make a change at the entry-level end of its lineup, too.
As part of the event, Apple confirmed that it was making the 10th-gen iPad cheaper.
The 10th-gen iPad retailed for $449 earlier today but as a result of the new change Apple has slashed the price to just $349, making the tablet a much better proposition. That’ll get you the 64GB model, while a 256GB version is also offered as an option.
As a result of the change Apple has now also discontinued the iPad 9, a tablet that previously sold for $329, likely due to the fact the iPad 10 is now so cheap.
The move also means that there are now no Lightning-powered iPads in the lineup although Apple continues to sell the original Appel Pencil for those who have an older tablet.
Apple didn’t mention the iPad mini during the event, and the iPad 10 that’s being sold today is the same as the one that was announced in 2022. Both of these tablets are expected to be updated soon enough, but today’s event was all about the OLED M4 iPad Pro, new M2 iPad Air, and the Apple Pencil Pro. Apple also refreshed the Apple Magic Keyboard, too.
