All information is pulled from the Texas Tech Police Department Crime Log.

From Sunday to Thursday, four reports of theft and two cases of theft and credit/debit card abuse were reported at on-campus locations.

Stolen items included Apple AirPods, an electric scooter and two bicycles. The stolen credit/debit cards also were used to make several purchases.

Sunday, Oct. 20

12:42 a.m. A Tech officer issued a non-student a criminal trespass warning for all Tech property at the Carpenter/Wells Complex.

1:10 a.m. A Tech officer arrested a student for public intoxication and possession of a fictitious license in the R-31 parking lot. The student was transported to the county jail.

2:02 a.m. A Campus Security Authority reported a liquor law violation in Carpenter/Wells Housing Complex.

3:19 a.m. A Campus Security Authority reported a liquor law violation outside the Honors Residence Hall.

12:57 p.m. A Tech officer arrested a non-student for outstanding city warrants in the 3100 block of 18th Street. The individual also was issued a county citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and was transported to the county jail.

7 p.m. A Tech officer investigated a hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle in the Z5-C parking lot.

Monday, Oct. 21

2:36 p.m. A Tech officer investigated theft and credit card/debit card abuse at Jones AT&T Stadium. An unsecured purse, its contents and a credit card were stolen. The credit card was used at an off-campus location.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

1:21 a.m. A Tech officer documented information in reference to suspicious activity at Sneed Residence Hall.

6:30 a.m. A Tech officer completed an emergency detention on a student at Hulen Residence Hall. The student was transported to Sunrise Canyon.

8:14 a.m. A Tech officer investigated theft and credit/debit card abuse on the east side of Drane Hall. An unsecured purse and its contents were stolen and a credit card was used to make multiple purchases.

9:10 a.m. A Tech officer investigated theft at the Experimental Sciences Building II. Unsecured Apple AirPods were stolen.

11:11 a.m. A Tech officer investigated theft at the west bicycle racks at the Art Building. A secured electric scooter was stolen.

11:57 a.m. A Tech officer investigated retaliation at the Student Recreation Center basketball courts.

2:33 p.m. A Tech officer investigated a traffic accident with injuries in the 600 block of Joliet Avenue. A vehicle struck a bicyclist and the bicyclist was transported to the University Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services.

2:33 p.m. A Tech officer documented information in reference to missing property in the 500 block of Joliet Avenue.

3:55 p.m. A Campus Security Authority reported a liquor law violation in Bledsoe Residence Hall.

4:30 p.m. An incident of stalking on campus was reported to Title IX.

6:41 p.m. A Tech officer investigated a traffic accident with minor injuries in the 1800 block of Flint Avenue.

9:29 p.m. A Tech officer completed an emergency detention on a student at the Carpenter/Wells Complex. The student was transported to the Covenant Hospital Emergency Room by Emergency Medical Services.

10:26 p.m. A Campus Security Authority reported a liquor law violation in Murray Residence Hall.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

1:09 a.m. A Tech officer investigated criminal mischief at Stangel Residence Hall. A fire extinguisher was discharged.

8:11 a.m. A Tech officer investigated a traffic accident involving a university vehicle without injuries in the 900 block of Flint Avenue.

9:01 a.m. An incident of stalking on campus was reported to Title IX.

9:39 a.m. A Tech officer documented information in reference to a simple assault (dating violence) at an off-campus location.

10:36 a.m. A Tech officer investigated theft at the east bicycle racks of the Media and Communications building. A secured bicycle was stolen.

12:01 p.m. A Tech officer investigated a hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle in the Z1-B parking lot.

3:24 p.m. A Tech officer investigated theft at the northwest bicycle racks of Sneed Residence Hall. A secured bicycle was stolen.

5:17 p.m. A Tech officer issued a non-student a county citation for assault (by threat) on the west side of the Student Union Building. The individual was issued a criminal trespass warning for all Tech property.

6:31 p.m. A Tech officer documented information in reference to damaged property in the C-11 parking lot. A vehicle struck a light pole and parking sign.

7:25 p.m. A Tech officer issued a non-student a criminal trespass warning for all Tech property at Main Street and Flint Avenue.

11:46 p.m. A Tech officer released a student, pending the filing of charges, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, in the Z4-P parking lot.

Thursday, Oct. 24

1:36 a.m. A Tech officer arrested a student for driving while intoxicated in the Z3-D parking lot. The student was transported to the county jail and the vehicle was impounded.

8:33 a.m. A Tech officer investigated a hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle in the C-1 south parking lot.

2:58 p.m. A Tech officer arrested a non-student for criminal trespass at the Jones AT&T Stadium. The individual was transported to the county jail.
