SoundPEATS has a wide range of audio products in different styles and fits. Their latest is part of the Air series of earbuds called the SoundpPEATS Air5. These have quite the feature set including Snapdragon Sound and Hi-Res Audio, Bluetooth 5.4, multiple noise canceling modes, aptX lossless audio decoding, and more. All of this is a stylish body that is surprisingly comfortable.
DESIGN
When I first saw the SoundPEATS Air5, the first thing that came to mind was Airpods. The main reason for this is that these earbuds are semi-in-ear and don’t go into your ear canal. Instead, they fit comfortably in the cradle of the inner part of your ear and don’t feature any silicon ear pads. Because of this, these feel incredibly comfortable and don’t make my ears feel sore after long usage.
While they don’t look exactly like AirPods, I’m sure the comparisons will be there. Some ways that the Air5 tries to differentiate itself is a slightly sleeker-looking design that looks more rounded and clean. I also like the inclusion of the metal deco on the outside with the SoundPEATS logo. It makes it look a bit more sophisticated and high-class.
The charging case is also pretty nice and fairly small in size. It’s easy to carry around in my pocket and also easy to open and pullout the earbuds.

EXPERIENCE
For starters, the SoundPEATS Air5 are very comfortable. These might be one of the most comfortable earbuds I’ve used. This is mainly because they don’t sit in your ear canal and sit in the cradle of your ear instead. In my ear at least, they fit great and don’t make my ears feel sore after long usage. There are also no silicone ear tips which sometimes get dirty from your ears, so you don’t have to worry about that.
As for the audio experience, these sound really good. There’s a good amount of treble and bass and all the music I threw at these sounded perfect. There is ANC, but it’s up to you if you want to use it or not. ANC is weird sometimes for those who aren’t use to it since you can hear a humming sound when there’s nothing playing.
Other than that, I really like how these sound with music and when I’m talking on the phone.
It does have touch controls, which I”m not a huge fan of, but these work well. The charging case easy to use and utilized USB-C to charge. I wish there was wireless charging on it, but there isn’t.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The SoundPEATS Air5 are pretty good with a great set of features. Battery life is great where you’ll only need to charge every few days and the audio quality in my opinion is fantastic. I like that the charging case is small and fits in my pocket, but I do with it had wireless charging.
Other than that, overall great set of earbuds that are super comfortable and look great. I’d definitely recommend these if you prefer earbuds that are more “Apple-like” but aren’t AirPods.
