Gardaí have seized €160,000 worth of fake Apple products in Mayo.
Following reports of intellectual property crime in Castlebar, Westport, Ballinrobe and Claremorris, an inter-agency search operation took place on Thursday and Friday this week.
The Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Crime Unit, the Garda National Immigration Bureau, the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation Revenue, Workplace Relations Commission and the Social Welfare Special Investigations Unit all took part in the operation.
Over 800 suspected counterfeit Apple products were found after a number of businesses were searched.
No arrests have yet been made but the Garda investigation is ongoing.
