People are always shocked when I say that I don’t shop on Amazon all that much. I’m part of the “old” generation that still gets a giddy feeling in their stomach when they walk into a store, wandering through the vast aisles. However, I’d also be remiss not to say that, sometimes, online shopping, like right now, during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, brings about a convenience that even I fall for. In fact, some of the deals are so good, I had to do a triple take.

While the name might be a mouthful, the concept isn’t. Short and sweet, it’s like a second Prime Day, which lands just in time for the beginning of holiday shopping season—and it just so happens to fall during the time of year I tend to get bitten by the online shopping bug. So, like I said, while I rarely shop Amazon (or online, in general), I know not to miss a good sale, and Amazon’s October Prime Day is just that, with thousands of offerings in every single department, from home to tech to fashion to beauty.
