PlayStation ra mắt bộ sưu tập đặc biệt kỷ niệm 30 năm cho phần cứng PS5

Sony vừa tiết lộ một loạt phần cứng màu xám lấy cảm hứng từ PlayStation ban đầu, bao gồm hai máy PS5.

Trong một bài đăng trên blog, công ty đã chi tiết về ‘Bộ sưu tập kỷ niệm 30 năm,’ được trình làng trước khi thương hiệu PlayStation chính thức đón tuổi 3-0 vào tháng 12. Như một phần của lễ kỷ niệm, hãng đang ra mắt các sản phẩm kỷ niệm sau:

Đáng chú ý, chỉ có 12.300 bộ sản phẩm của dòng PS5 Pro phiên bản giới hạn sẽ được bán trên toàn thế giới, nhằm tưởng nhớ ngày 3 tháng 12 năm 1994 – ngày ra mắt Playstation ban đầu tại Nhật Bản.

Bộ sưu tập kỷ niệm 30 năm của PlayStation sẽ được ra mắt toàn cầu vào ngày 21 tháng 11, chỉ hai tuần sau PS5 Pro vừa mới được tiết lộ. Trong bài đăng trên blog, PlayStation không xác nhận giá cho sản phẩm, đơn giản chỉ thông báo rằng đơn đặt hàng sẽ được cung cấp cho những người ở các quốc gia mà được phục vụ bởi ‘direct.playstation.com’ – nói cách khác, không phải Canada. Ngoài ra, các quốc gia không có quyền truy cập vào trang web PlayStation Direct sẽ bắt đầu đặt hàng trước bắt đầu từ ngày 26 tháng 9 tại “những nhà bán lẻ tham gia”.

Sony has revealed a new lineup of original PlayStation-inspired grey hardware, including two PS5 consoles.

In a blog post, the company detailed the ’30th Anniversary Collection,’ which comes ahead of the PlayStation brand’s big 3-0 in December. As part of those anniversary celebrations, the company is debuting the following nostalgic products:

• PlayStation 5 Pro Console — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle (includes the 2TB console and matching controller, plus themed cable connector housing, four PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a PlayStation sticker, one of 30 limited edition PlayStation posters and a PlayStation paperclip).
• PlayStation 5 Digital Edition — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle (includes the 1TB console, matching controller and vertical stand, plus themed cable connector housing, four PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a PlayStation sticker, one of 30 limited edition PlayStation posters and a PlayStation paperclip).
• PlayStation Portal Remote Player — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition (standalone).
• DualSense Edge Wireless Controller — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition (standalone).
• DualSense Wireless Controller — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition (standalone).

Notably, only 12,300 units of the limited edition PS5 Pro bundle will be sold worldwide in a nod to the December 3rd, 1994 Japanese launch of the original PlayStation.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will launch worldwide on November 21st, just two weeks after the recently revealed PS5 Pro. In the blog post, PlayStation doesn’t confirm pricing for the hardware, simply noting that pre-orders will be offered to those in countries serviced by ‘direct.playstation.com’ — in other words, not Canada. Otherwise, pre-orders for countries without access to the PlayStation Direct website will see pre-orders begin starting September 26th at “participating retailers.”

MobileSyrup has reached out to PlayStation Canada for Canadian pricing and availability and will update this story once a response has been received. Given that PlayStation is only selling the special PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles in bundles, it’s unclear exactly how much they might cost. For context, the standard Digital Edition PS5 is priced at $579.99 in Canada, while the PS5 Pro was just confirmed to cost a staggering $959.99.

In other PlayStation anniversary news, the company recently released the PS5 platformer Astro Bot, the highest-rated game of 2024, which celebrates decades of gaming history. Other PlayStation anniversary initiatives include the release of digital God of War soundtracks, a free version of Gran Turismo 7, and free multiplayer weekends.
