A 31-year-old Milwaukee man has been accused of stalking Kenosha County men and then attempting to intimidate a local law enforcement official.
Paul Leo Augustine was charged Wednesday in Kenosha County Circuit Court with two counts of stalking, 11 counts of bail jumping and one count of intimidation of a witness, all felonies.
Augustine made his initial appearance at Intake Court on Thursday and a court commissioner imposed a $500,000 cash bond, according to online court records.
He remained in custody Friday.
Augustine was charged in January with stalking, obstructing an officer and numerous other criminal charges before posting a $5,000 cash bond, according to the criminal complaint. After his release Augustine allegedly committed crimes against people he was ordered not to contact.

Augustine also allegedly asked a man to get “dirt” on a local detective who is a witness in the original stalking case and offered to pay the man if he placed a “bomb” in that detective’s mailbox, according to the complaint.
Augustine reportedly tried to purchase a firearm in June but did not pass a background check.
