A Windham School District employee allegedly admitted to police that she planted an AirTag tracking device on the school superintendent’s car, according to court documents.Sandra Murray was arrested and is facing two misdemeanor charges, including stalking, after a protection order was issued against her last week.According to court documents, Murray said she planted the device because she believed Superintendent Kori Becht wasn’t where she was supposed to be during work hours.Becht told police she found an Apple AirTag tracking her location while she was driving. She told investigators she believed it belonged to Murray, an administrative assistant in the Windham district because the serial number of the AirTag was associated with the last four digits of Murray’s phone number.Becht said she was scared for her family’s safety and concerned that Murray would share confidential information and try to retaliate.When confronted by police, Murray allegedly admitted to putting the AirTag on Becht’s car about three weeks ago. A temporary protection order was issued against Murray that forbids her from being within 300 feet of the superintendent.Murray was released on personal recognizance and is expected to be arraigned next month.
