Capcom đã thông báo rằng RE Village sẽ được phát hành cho iPhone/iPad vào ngày 30 tháng 10 năm 2023. Trò chơi này đã có sẵn để chơi trên các máy Macs. RE4 chưa có ngày phát hành chính thức nhưng đã được xác nhận sẽ ra mắt trong năm nay. Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil Village will be launched on iPhone 15 Pro models and Apple Silicon-powered iPad models on October 30. The Resident Evil 4 has yet to receive a launch date, but it is available for pre-orders now on Apple Store. RE Village is already available for several Macs powered by the Apple Silicon chips.

Apple took its time at the Wonderlust event to showcase the gaming capabilities of the new iPhone 15 Pro models powered by its first-ever 3 nm A17 Pro chipset. Now, it’s almost time to test the bold claims as Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 (remake) are set to arrive on the latest iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
These games will also be arriving at the Apple Silicon-powered iPads and Macs. Users will have the option to play the game on iPhone and iPad either via a controller or utilise the screen-touch for in-game actions. Macs will also support a controller while offering an option to play via the machine’s keyboard. Let’s get into the details.
Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4: Release date, eligible devices
Capcom announced that the RE Village will be released for the iPhone/ iPad on October 30, 2023. This title is already available to play on Macs. The RE4 doesn’t have an official release date yet but has been confirmed to launch this year. Currently, it is available to pre-order on the App Store with a placeholder date visible on the game’s App Store listing. Capcom said that it would announce the official launch date at a later date.

Only the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.0 or later are powerful enough to play these Resident Evil titles. You cannot play the game on standard iPhone 15 models or previous versions.
As far as iPads are concerned, iPad Pro models powered by the M1 and M2 chipsets will support the title alongside the iPad Air M1. In other words, the eligible iPad models include– 12.9-inch iPad Pro M1 (5th gen), 12.9-inch iPad Pro M2 (6th gen), 11-inch iPad Pro M1 (3rd gen), 11-inch iPad Pro M2 (4th gen), and iPad Air M1 (5th gen). The machine needs to be running on iPadOS 17.0 or later.
MacBook Pro with M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M2, M2 Pro, and M2 Max chipsets are eligible to play the new titles alongside MacBook Air with M1 and M2 chipset, Mac mini with M1, M2, and M2 Pro chips, and Mac Studio with M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, and M2 Ultra chipsets. The 24-inch iMac M1 chip and Mac Pro with M2 Ultra chip will also be able to play the new titles. All these machines need to run on macOS 13.0 or later.
