Tình trạng cắt điện tái diễn đã quay trở lại giai đoạn 3.
Công ty điện lực Eskom cho biết giai đoạn 3 của tình trạng cắt điện sẽ được triển khai cho đến khi có thông báo mới sau khi ba đơn vị phát điện bị hỏng trong 24 giờ qua. Công ty không thể tái cấp nguồn dự phòng của mình.
Giai đoạn 3 cắt điện sẽ bắt đầu từ 20h00 ngày Chủ nhật (24 tháng 9) và tiếp tục cho đến khi có thông báo mới.
Ban đầu, Eskom đã dự định tạm ngừng cắt điện trong suốt kỳ nghỉ dài, nhưng sau đó lại phải áp dụng cắt điện từ thứ Ba trở đi.

Power utility Eskom says that stage 3 load shedding will be implemented until further notice after three generating units failed over the past 24 hours.
The utility has also been unable to replenish its reserves, it said.
Stage 3 load shedding will be implemented from 20h00 on Sunday (24 September) and will continue until further notice.
Eskom had intended on keeping load shedding suspended for the duration of the long weekend, only to return to outages again from Tuesday.
