Apple vừa rút ứng dụng xem YouTube Juno trên Apple Vision Pro khỏi App Store. Apple Vision Pro đã xuất hiện từ vài tháng trước đến nay, nhưng Google vẫn chưa ra mắt ứng dụng YouTube cho máy tính không gian. Kết quả là có nhu cầu xem nội dung YouTube mà không cần truy cập vào Safari, và giờ đây có một cách không còn để làm điều đó.
Ứng dụng Juno của nhà phát triển Christian Selig đã được kiểm chứng là một lựa chọn tốt và rất phổ biến, nhưng hiện nay đã bị gỡ khỏi App Store sau khi YouTube cho biết rằng ứng dụng vi phạm Điều khoản Dịch vụ của công ty.
Những người đã cài đặt ứng dụng vẫn có thể tiếp tục sử dụng nó, nhưng những người cần di chuyển sang Apple Vision Pro mới hoặc khôi phục máy Hiện tại của mình sẽ rất tiếc không thể cài đặt ứng dụng này nữa.

The Apple Vision Pro has been around for a few months at this point, but Google is yet to launch a YouTube app for the spatial computer.
The result is that there is a desire for ways to watch YouTube content without heading into Safari, and now there is one less way to do just that.
The Juno app by developer Christian Selig has proven to be a great option and a hugely popular one, but it’s now been removed from the App Store after YouTube claimed that it was violating the company’s Terms of Service.
As you might imagine, Selig believes that YouTube is overstepping the mark.
I don’t personally agree with this, as Juno is just a web view, and acts as little more than a browser extension that modifies CSS to make the website and video player look more “visionOS” like. No logos are placed other than those already on the website, and the “for YouTube” suffix is permitted in their branding guidelines. Juno also doesn’t block ads in any capacity, for the curious.
Thankfully, those who have the app installed will continue to be able to use it but those who need to migrate to a new Apple Vision Pro or restore their existing one will unfortunately no longer be able to install the app.
