Sometimes people do the most hilarious things with kids and the little ones’ unexpected reactions are just out of the world. That is what happened with this man. Andrew Breen, a comedian who goes by @breencomedy on Instagram, posted a series of hilarious videos in which he treated an infant like an adult and captured her adorable reaction to his bizarre behavior. The text overlay in the videos reads, “Treating babies like normal people.”
The video begins with Breen walking into a room where his friend and the baby are seen watching TV. His friend asks Breen, “Are you good? and he responds, “It’s good.” They shake hands and everything seems normal until the man moves to the baby, who is sitting next to his friend. Breen says to her, “Good,” gives her a fist bump and then quietly goes and sits next to her on the sofa. The baby stares at him and keeps her hand up, presumably hoping for another fist bump.
In another scene, he is seen looking into his phone while walking and suddenly bumps into the same baby in a stroller. The woman pushing the stroller apologizes to Breen and says, “It’s my bad.” The comedian tells her straight off to stay out of it. He looks at the baby and says in a serious tone, “You got a problem here, buddy?” The baby looks at him and gives a faint smile. After this, he is seen having a heart-to-heart conversation with the baby while sitting on a sofa. He tells her, “I like kids. I just don’t want to raise them. You know?”
As the baby shows him her hand and cutely responds, “Wut?” Breen burst out laughing, hearing her response. Next, Breen seems to be having a serious discussion with her. He tells her, “This Middle East conflict is crazy. Who are you rooting for?” Meanwhile, the toddler is seen putting her head on his left arm, babbling and trying to get up. Then, in the following clip, the man, his friend and the baby are sitting on the sofa and the friend says, “I’m gonna make some food. Do you guys want something?”
Breen responds, “I’m good” and the baby babbles, which the friend takes as a ‘no.’ After the friend goes to the kitchen, Breen tries to make small talk with the baby, “Andrew tells me you work in tech?” and the child starts to move her right leg repeatedly, which is hilarious. The hilariously adorable clips have garnered over 10 million views. People shared in the comments how much they enjoyed the child’s response. @ruk.mini.k commented, “I wanna see the bloopers of this…like..how can you stay serious around this baby?”
@soundlightt wrote, “See? If you treat them like actual people, they behave like actual people.
